MAT or Management Aptitude Test is an all India level test conducted for admission into Management Schools. It is conducted 4 times every year to give an opportunity to all those candidates who want to pursue a career in management. MAT 2018 Exam is going to be held in February, May, September, and December. The score obtained in MAT is valid for only one year. There are two modes in which this exam is conducted i.e. Paper Mode and Online Mode. The Paper Based Test is usually conducted on first Sundays of February, May, September and December and the Computer-based Test are conducted on the Saturdays (usually 6 days after the Paper-based test). 

MAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification: MAT is an eligibility test whose result is valid for only one year. This also comes in the leading and toughest test for admission into B-schools. The aspirants who would like to pursue in management should possess a Bachelor's degree in Science, Commerce, Arts, etc
  • Candidates who are in final year of graduation can also apply for MAT 2018 Feb Exam.
  • The applicant should have at least 50% in their graduation and the reserved categories have been given a relaxation of 5% i.e. 45% in graduation.
  • NRIs can also apply for the test
  • There is no limit on the no. of attempts for an individual

MAT 2018 Application Fee :

All the applicants have to pay amount of Rs.1500/- (Inclusive of 18% GST) as application fee. There is no fee concession mentioned for reserved categories. Once the fees are paid, then it is non-refundable. The fee payment can be done through any Online mode like Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, Cash, etc. The Demand Draft has to be made in favor of All India Management Association from any bank.

MAT 2018 Feb Exam Pattern :

There are five sections as well as each section will carry forty marks. MAT 2018 Selection Procedure :

There will be a Cut-off list, and the candidates who will cross the cut off will be called for the further evaluation process. The written or the MAT 2018 Feb Exam will be considered as the qualifying exam then the further selection process will vary from institute to institute. Some institutes can conduct Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), Personal Interview (PI) to analyze the applicant's thought process and writing ability.
